Our squad carried out their first training session in Tunisia on Thursday in preparation for the first leg of the CAF Champions League final, scheduled next Saturday against Esperance. 

Before the start of the training, our players, Hussein El Shahat and Mahmoud Metwally spoke to the media about the importance of achieving a good result before playing the return leg at home. 

Hussein El Shahat 

"It's a big game between two of the biggest clubs in Africa. It is a special game and we are ready for it. We have much respect for Esperance. They are a strong side and they proved that in their journey to the final. However, we have the experience to play under pressure and we only focus on getting a good result here in Tunisia." 
 

Mahmoud Metwally 

"It is a difficult match and we need to be fully prepared for it. We enjoyed a fantastic run in the last few matches in the league, which gives us a big motivation before Saturday's match. We defeated Esperance last season but you can't count on the history when it comes to being in the final. It is a different game with different circumstances."
